Last week I had my first snow day in college. Wellesley rarely has snow days so this one was special. People were dancing and singing in the hallways on the day of the announcement. (I was too.)
Wellesley looks like a Winter Wonderland right now. The trees are being weighed down with snow so they look like canopies in the jungle. People are building snowmen and going sledding on the side of hills. It’s really great. It makes for all the snow we have and all the falls I have had since ice has formed.
The picture of the building is of my dorm, Pomeroy. The quad (where I live) is especially beautiful and in my opinion the best place on campus.
In other news, I am learning how to code. My Astrophysics professor wants us to use this computer program to learn how to create simulations of how things in the universe move and act. I am learning how to use Python right now. I heard that it is one of the easy languages to learn. Hopefully, I can improve on this new skill as I move forward.
This weekend is a three day weekend and I am excited to have a small break!
That’s all for this week.
