As I write this, it’s SPRING BREAK. I haven’t done much of anything so far besides enjoy a well-deserved break. But I do have work to do. This is not like the old days where a break meant no work and all play.
It feels great to be home again. However, it’s a little weird. Going home feels new and familiar at the same time. New because they are some things I don’t remember or have completely forgotten. Familiar because you are surrounded by your family and childhood friends. It’s the same scenery and not much has changed but things do feel a little different. This might be because I am seeing my surroundings in a new light. Noticing things I didn’t notice before. Going home after being gone for a while gives me a new appreciation for it.
Before I go, CONGRATULATIONS to the CLASS OF 2021. I am so excited for you. I do hope many of you come to Spring Open Campus and eventually enroll at Wellesley. I am looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible. Soon, you’ll be able to relate to some of the feelings, I’ve been writing about in my blog posts. I wish you luck as you embark on this new journey!
