Omg, I’m Finally Back

I’m finally back! Not only was I not blogging all of winter break, I also was not blogging because my computer decided to break the FIRST DAY back to school. Talk about bad luck, huh? It’s almost as if the universe wanted me to have a hard time, haha, especially because I also got really sick during the past week and a half; me and the universe are going to have a long talk about that.

Honestly, it’s great to be back. Maybe I’m just saying that because mid-semester panic hasn’t arrived yet, but I really do love Wellesley and I think I have a better system of staying on top of things now (unless, of course, my computer breaks and needs to be replaced (I’ll be adding a snap video of the demonic activities wreaking havoc on my poor machine)). Plus! It snowed! Real snow that actually stuck and almost gave us hope for a snow day!

Don’t get me wrong, I love my classes and this school, but I also love the concept of snow days! In Miami, we only get days off for hurricanes, and that’s not that fun. If I can find a nice picture, I’ll add it here.

This semester, I’m continuing Japanese but everything else is new. I’m taking a philosophy class, a calculus class (woo! Go limits and definite integrals!), and my favorite so far: an anthropology class about human sacrifice! Awesome, right? Right!

Everything is so calm and organized and new, and I hope my studying system actually works to keep it that way. My room is even rearranged to remind me that it’s a new semester, a new start! The only things continuing from last system are Japanese classes (鳥先生はとても素晴らしいです) and my job at ILL (love ya, Angie and Jaime). I don’t even have an 8:30 class – which is the best ever!

Anyway, sorry for the really late update and short post! I’ll be better, I swear! For now, I’m off to try and do some reviewing until I get too hungry and decide to go to Boston for some dinner.
