Autumn Wonderland

Is Autumn Wonderland a thing?  Wellesley has exploded in colors this Fall and wonderland seems to be the only proper way to describe it. I was away for last Fall in Senegal so I forgot how beautiful Autumn is. Since Wellesley is essentially a forest with buildings in it, there is tons of beauty to admire.

It’s been raining this past couple of days and I haven’t been able to spend as much time outside as I would have liked. I am hoping the rain lets up so I can finally try to jump in some leaves! This past week has mostly consisted of me admiring leaves, hunkering down to get through midterms and cherishing moments with friends.

It’s the middle of the semester and I cannot believe it. Planning for next semester has begun and I am realizing that this will be my last semester. It’s the middle of the semester and I cannot believe it. It is definitely the most hectic part of the year and finding time to do other things than study can be hard. But that is why I appreciate the beauty of autumn even more. It forces you to do outside to enjoy it because if you don’t you just might miss it.

Until next time,

Laïssa
