Hey Wellesley!
My name is Anna Tutek and I am going to be one of the bloggers for this academic year! Before I change all of my social media statuses to “micro-influencer,” let me tell you all a little bit about myself.😇
I use she/her pronouns and am a sophomore prospective double major in Psychology and Neuroscience. I am a member of the Lacrosse team (yay go Blue!!!) and am incredibly gluten-free. Now that everyone knows my whole life story (including dietary restrictions😅) I would love to share some fun facts about myself.
Fun fact #1, I am the oldest child of my family and have two younger siblings; Amelia and William. My family is very important to me, which is one of the reasons I love the Wellesley community so much. Everyone is from such different backgrounds but still there is a really familial and welcoming feeling on campus.
Fun fact #2, I am from Trumbull, Connecticut. And no, do not worry if you have NO idea where this is, most people from CT don’t even know. For geographical reference, I am about 45 minutes to an hour from NYC. During the pandemic we had a ton of new neighbors move in to escape the city, so our town is bustling.
Fun fact #3, I have two yellow Labrador Retrievers at home named Max and Rudy. Max is eight years old and very much the old man of the house. Rudy, on the other hand, is two years old and thinks he is a newborn baby. His favorite activities include (and mine as well) watching The Office on the couch, going to Starbucks for a treat and crying when he doesn’t get attention. Who knew dogs and humans could be so alike!
Anyway, I think that is all that there is to know about me but if any questions do arise I am always happy to chat! (No, like I LOVE to talk!!!) I look forward to talking with everyone next Wednesday and until then I hope everyone has a great end to their week.
Don’t be a stranger,
Anna Tutek
