Hey all!
I hope that everyone had an enjoyable rest of their past week! Today has been a rather rainy day on campus with lots of wind and not as many geese out as usual. I thought that for this post I could talk about my typical Wednesday schedule! I began my day by struggling to get out of my bed because of how cozy it is in comparison to the chilly autumn weather but eventually was able to successfully get ready for the day. I really enjoy waking up a little bit earlier than when my first class begins so that it does not feel too rushed in the morning.
Wednesdays are my “lab” days which just means two of my classes meet for a third time for supplemental instruction (aka SI). On the schedule for today I had an 8:30 SI session for my Intro to Neuroscience course followed by a meeting for my Statistical Data Analysis Psychology course at 1:30.
Between my two classes I actually work for a few hours at a local shoe store which I am able to walk to from campus, which has been a really enjoyable experience thus far. I even had enough time to grab a coffee from Starbucks today! I have recently been on a hot coffee kick and have been loving a hot pumpkin flat white. If you’re feeling extra autumnal get it with some whipped cream and pumpkin spice topping :). SO GOOD.
Other than that, I am about to head out to lacrosse practice and then catch up with some teammates for dinner and homework afterward. Today was definitely gloomy in weather but full of spirits.
