Hi Bloggies. I hope you are all doing splendidly. This is my second to last blog as an Admissions Summer Intern. 🙁 But, here’s my song of the week. I don’t listen to the main artist but anyone who has known me for more than 2 seconds knows I’ve had an Ava Max music obsession since grade 9. So this song has been on repeat for the last 6 days.
Alright, let’s get into it.
Thursday. Lauren Reilly took Lara and I out for dinner at The Cheesecake factory after work! LR works at the front desk of the admissions office, and she is a treasure to this world. I love her so much. She actually gifted me the shirt I’m wearing in the picture below. I am manifesting only good things for her. Live Laugh Love LR. :,)

Intern Dinner!

Thank you Cheese Cake Chefs
LR also took us to the dollar store right after and told us to get some treats and fun things. However, being a college student, even if only for a year, severely adultifies you so the first things I got were paper towels, frozen breakfast sandwiches, hair ties, thumbtacks, and an oven mit. Then Lara convinced me to get this light up halloween picture that makes scary sounds so I got at least one fun thing!

Thank you LR!

Favs
Saturday. I began moving into my new dorm after work! I lived in Claflin my first year, but I’ll be living in Shafer this upcoming year. I was kind of a quint-anti at first because it doesn’t have the lake view that Claflin has, but it’s been growing on me this past week. It also helps that my new room is very well sized with a turret for the living room area my roommates and I plan to make!

Would you even believe I’m from Arizona?
Tuesday. I’m only half way moved in at this point, but I’ve finally got my posters and most of my wall decor up. All of those upside flowers are actually from several of my bigs that I’ve collected over the past school year!

POV: I despise pop music.

Pretty Campus 🙂
Wednesday. Our intern manager Jenna took us out for pottery painting and tacos!! We ended up painting our respective pieces for 3 hours and talked about many many many different topics. I made a cup with stars on it, and I’m gonna use it to hold my rings and watches. B) We also saw a cat sitting in a very distinguished manner on a wall in Brookline as we walked to tacos.

Everybody’s so creative

Cute
Okay that’s it! Thanks for reading. 🙂 See you next week.
Love,
Avery the Admissions Intern
