Hi all,
The upcoming and highly anticipated release of the spring semester’s course browser this week brings a sense of excitement as I plan for my final semester at Wellesley. It’s a milestone to be selecting my last two education and psychology courses, which will wrap up my academic focus in these areas. I’m looking forward to finishing strong and applying everything I’ve learned so far. It’s also so fun to see what new and exciting courses are going to be offered next semester. If you haven’t yet, I would clear your Friday plans for when the beloved course browser drops!
In addition to those courses, I’m excited to branch out and take two new classes in subjects I haven’t explored yet. It’s a great opportunity to dive into something fresh while completing my final semester. This mix of familiar and new coursework will make my spring semester both challenging and rewarding as I prepare for the next steps in my journey.
As I plan for my final semester, I’m also looking ahead to what comes after graduation. My goal is to apply to business graduate programs, where I can build on my experiences and further develop the skills needed to pursue a career in human resources. This next step is something I’ve been preparing for throughout my time at Wellesley, and I’m eager to take on new challenges in a business-focused environment. Balancing my coursework with the application process will be a rewarding challenge as I transition into this next phase.
One of the most fun parts of using the course browser is creating endless schedules and exploring all the possibilities. Wellesley offers such a wide variety of unique courses that the process feels like a puzzle with so many interesting pieces. I enjoy playing around with different combinations, thinking about how each class fits into my academic goals, and seeing all the fascinating options available. It’s exciting to see how many different directions my schedule could go, even as I finalize my last semester, making the planning process a fun and engaging experience.
Another great resource for scheduling is the website Coursicle, which makes it super easy to play around with class layouts and create potential schedules. It’s helpful for visualizing how my days could be structured and seeing the time gaps between classes. I can quickly swap courses, adjust times, and see what different combinations would look like without the hassle of doing it manually. Coursicle adds to the fun of planning by giving me more control over my schedule and helping me stay organized while I explore all the options Wellesley has to offer. Happy scheduling!
Until next week,
Anna Tutek
