Hey everyone!
As you may have noticed, I skipped the blog post last week (November is just a tough month for university students I fear), so I thought I should give you some updates as to what I have been up to recently.
Of course, the thing that occupies the majority of my time right now is studying. I just got my finals schedule, and I realized that I practically have the whole month of December to study for my finals, which is not something I’m used to. At Wellesley we get a few days for revision, so this is a completely new experience for me. Final exams here are worth a lot more of my grade than they are at Wellesley though, so I guess that that’s fair. I’m trying to catch up on work and start preparing myself for the final stretch of the semester.
Studying aside, I also just came back from a few days in London with my friends. I absolutely loved that experience, and I was not ready to leave when I had to. There were so many cool things to do and see: we went to a West End musical—Six The Musical, to a performance of the play The Mousetrap, to a Van Gogh exhibition, and to a Conan Gray concert among other things. Oh, we also saw the king from afar (like, really really afar) during the Remembrance Day ceremony! I loved sharing that experience with my friends, and I honestly think we all needed that time off school.
Another thing that happened yesterday for me was class registration for next semester. Every semester up until now I have had really bad luck when it comes to it, which is why I was really surprised when this year I managed to register for my first-choice classes without any problems. I guess that that’s one good thing about being a junior, it’s easier to get into your preferred classes. This is what my schedule will (probably) look like:
So yeah, that’s it from me for this week. I hope November is treating you well. See you next week!
