Penultimate Week of Classes

Hey everyone!

Yep, you read that right, this week is my penultimate week of classes, which is still crazy to me. I feel like I arrived here only yesterday, and suddenly I can see the finish line. My friends at Wellesley are just finishing their midterms, and I am here prepared to face my final exams. I honestly don’t feel prepared at all, but I guess that’s why the university is giving me almost a month to be done with them. I am slowly starting to get into a routine of exam preparation, so hopefully everything goes smoothly in the next few weeks.

Speaking of my friends, studying abroad has really made me appreciate all my friends. Since I am here in Scotland, and my friends are all over the world too, we have all had to put in some deliberate efforts to find times to talk and chat with each other, which I think has only made those friendships stronger. I love the friends I made along the way here, but I am definitely excited to be back on Wellesley ground and do stuff like lake walks, late night dinners, and white boards study sessions with my friends.

For your weekly Scottish updates, Christmas has arrived in Edinburgh. The big Christmas market is set up, and there are lights and decorations everywhere. The market itself is just amazing—there are all sorts of foods and crafts; there’s even a big Ferris wheel! Glasgow also has their Winterfest set up, and it is amazing as well (ours of course is better though, hah, no bias there *whatsoever*).

That’s it from me for now, and happy Thanksgiving next week!
