Hey everyone!
I can’t actually believe that it’s already December, time really does fly by. I am officially done with classes (yay!), and my exams start next week (nay!). I have loved my experience here so much, but I feel ready to go home and then back to Wellesley soon.
Speaking of that, today I decided to tell you some of the things I miss most about Wellesley. I miss:
– The lake, the walks around the lake, and that one bench that’s on the opposite side of the lake from Lake House in the middle of the forest.
– My friends <3. I have made a lot of cool new connections and friends here, but nothing beats my Wellesley people.
– How close together everything is and having the ability to hang out with people in their rooms around the campus.
– My professors—their enthusiasm and their office hours.
– The geese, ducks, and swans all around campus.
– I am shocked that I am saying this, but the dining halls, I am really tired of cooking, hah.
– The town of Wellesley. I love my little weekly walks to the Ville to buy berries from the store.
– The constant supply of ice cream.
– The white boards around the Science Center where you can sit down and work through problem sheets with friends and classmates.
– Slater house and the weekly eboard meetings.
– What the campus looks like in the winter.
– The bubble tea from Rice Burg in the town.
– The HUNDREDS of events that happen on campus all the time.
– The couches in the Stone-Davis common room.
– Hearing the bells.
– Boston, with all of its beauty and craziness.
– The small classrooms, where you can actually see and hear the professors and have easy interactions with classmates.
– The feeling of looking at Tower Court from its backyard.
– The swing in front of the Chapel.
– The hot chocolate machines (when they work!) in the different dining halls.
– The feeling of being surrounded by familiar faces.
As you can see, I am feeling a bit nostalgic this week. I am really excited to set foot on campus again. See you again next week!
