The Perfect Weekend After Finals

DONE WITH EXAMS!! So close to being close to finishing my second year. Now I just have to focus on my last essay, which is due next Tuesday. Justin is spending this weekend with me before he leaves to go back home. I’m so glad that I’m done with exams, so I can just spend time with him and relax and have a good time. I’m pretty much done with my essay but still want to take my time to tweak it after Justin leaves on Monday.

On Thursday night, I stayed up till 6am with Erin and kept her company as she packed before she left on Friday. So I pretty much slept in all day, when Justin came. Luckily, he was also tired so he napped and let me work on the ending to my essay. On Saturday, we went to Boston Commons and had a wonderful day with nature and the city. It was absolutely beautiful weather on Saturday, which made the whole day even better. We just relaxed, soaked in the sunshine, and enjoyed sightseeing. Here’s a picture of us by the lake:

At Boston Commons!

Then, for dinner, we headed over to Allston to grab Korean food. We hadn’t eaten Korean food in so long, so it was great to eat it. After dinner, we headed back to Wellesley and then watched Iron Man, since Justin said I needed to watch it before watching Avengers.

Then on Sunday, we were pretty tired from our entire day out the day before, so we relaxed around Wellesley. Then, for dinner, my brother called me up to join him and his girlfriend to eat…Korean food. I tried to budge with him, but since it was Mother’s Day, it was hard to find another place to eat at. So Justin and I headed back into Boston, this time to Cambridge, to eat Korean food. We also stopped by Whole Foods on our way back and grabbed these delicious hazelnut wafers for a snack later.

On Monday, it was sadly pretty rainy, as I headed into Boston to drop Justin off at South Station for his bus back to New Jersey. We stopped by Chinatown for dinner before sending him off. Then, I headed back to school to sleep and relax.

Tomorrow, I need to finish up my essay, send it off, and start packing up my room. Can’t believe the end is almost here!

Lastly, here’s a beautiful picture of Wellesley that I took while on the way home on Saturday:

What’s not to love about Wellesley?
