Finals period is here and I have no idea how we got here! There are only 2 days left in the fall semester, and I’m still looking at my November calendar. My work for the next couple of days is substantial, but manageable. I’ll be taking my first scheduled exam on the first day of exams, and then going home 2 days later. My only paper is actually due at the end of reading period (which is Wednesday to Friday of this week).
This weekend, I stayed on campus trying to catch up on sleep and prepare for the next week and a half. The Blue Notes, one of Wellesley’s many a capella groups had their final show on Friday night. I loved their Kanye West mash-up, and I heard they’re playing around with the idea of a Drake mash-up for next semester! Saturday night, ZA held the annual holiday party and invited a couple local alumnae. It was potluck style and yum, I’m still thinking about the pistachio/green onion/garlic dip. This coming week, we’ll have therapy dogs all over campus to diffuse the stress and a folk dance on Friday night!
Side note: Upstage, one of Wellesley’s theatre groups, put on the 25th annual Putnam County Spelling Bee this weekend and it was INCREDIBLE. I laughed, cried, and left wanting more!
This will be my last post for the semester (I go home next Wednesday), but I promise to deliver an action-packed Spring semester.
