Fall Frenzy week is here! What is Fall Frenzy you ask? It's a week of fun activities that College Government and SBOG (Schneider Board of Governors…we like the acronyms here) brings to campus for free (who doesn't love free things?!) Today after I am finished with my blog I'm going to wait to get my FREE Fall Frenzy t shirt (they're super super this year) and a donut. Thursday there's an indie concert in the student center by a band called Best Coast and on Friday another concert by a hip-hop group called Chiddy Bang. Saturday afternoon there's a flag football tournament and more free food in Munger Meadow. Fall Frenzy was just started last year when I was a sophomore and from my understanding it was meant to mirror Spring Fling, a fortnight of even more awesome activities and concerts care of College Government and SBOG. The awesome thing about the concerts is that SBOG typically brings in up and coming artists. I've been introduced to so many new bands that I love because of Wellesley like Mates of State, Passion Pit, Santogold. We have even had Mickey Avalon and Girl Talk come!
And now for my spot of the week: Last week I talked about the arboretum but the truth is that there are gorgeous trees and colors all over campus. Many of them are class trees that have been planted by each class of Wellesley women over the years. Here are some photos I snapped recently, enjoy!
