April in Wellesley

Spring break in Chicago was so much fun!!! My sister and I had a wonderful time. We saw Billy Elliot the Musical and it was fantastic. How do people dance like that? The show made me really want to learn how to do ballet, but then I realized I would be awful at it and decided it would be better for society if I stayed away from it haha.

Flowers are starting to bloom all over campus and it's BEAUTIFUL. Just another incentive for all of you to come to SPRING OPEN CAMPUS.

Paul Begala is coming to campus on Thursday. He is a political commentator for CNN and worked for the Clinton Administration, so it will be interesting to hear what he has to say about the current political tensions in America. It's definitely something to look forward to.

This Saturday we also have our spring volleyball tournament at Bentley. We are missing a few players on our team, so it will be different but I think we can adjust and perform well.

This week also marks the beginning of the research process for our final paper in Writing 125. I think I am going to focus on the development of satirical comedy about Hitler in America and Germany. The topic has to be focused, but I'm really interested in where the idea will lead me.

I'll write more updates soon!!!
