Hello everyone! I hope all is well. All is going fairly well here, and I say fairly mainly because I have been sick for the past few days. It's really nothing terrible, but you know how it is. Nothing is fun when you're sick.
The past weekend went fabulously (minus the sick part). I accompanied the German club to Ariadne auf Noxes performed by the Boston Lyric Opera Company. I loved going into the Theater District in Boston. There is a theater on almost every corner and even the restaurants have names like "Intermission Tavern." The opera was pretty entertaining too. The plot revolves around writers, directors, and actors of two separate shows who are forced to share stage time due to time constraints. Hilarity and passion ensues. Brilliant.
My friends and I also made a fort in my room! I know, I know. That is something that 10 year olds do right after they make "no boys allowed signs." But I think that is precisely why it was so fun. Architecturally speaking, it was also a challenge because (let's face it), when you're making a fort in college, it has to be something you can brag about.
(My friend Maia and me in the fort!)
Spring Break officially begins in 2 DAYS!!! I am really excited because I am visiting my sister in Chicago for the whole week. It will be amazing! I hope you all have wonderful breaks! AND if you have any questions about how things work for people who stay here for spring break, let me know =)
