Hello everyone! Wow, this week has flown by. I can’t believe its already Thursday. Tomorrow afternoon I’ll be headed home for a nice visit with my family. I’m looking forward to taking a few long, relaxing runs around my town.
Speaking of running, we did a hill work out at track practice this week. It was intense. The first couple weren’t so bad but by the end my whole body was ready to hibernate lol. As tired as I was, I couldn’t help but notice how beautiful Wellesley’s campus is coming into spring. The last walk down the hill, I look out across the lake and smelled spring and just about died and went to heaven. I can’t believe I’m here on this beautiful campus working my butt off. I am truly lucky.
I hope many of you have gotten to come see Wellesley’s beauty for yourself. I know I visited multiple times before coming to school here. But I don’t think it has ever looked as beautiful to me than during that work out. Must be the endorphins;)
If I recall correctly, it snowed on Monday. Generally my reaction to snow is: yuck. But on my way to dinner after practice I snapped this really beautiful photo of the parking garage. I know that sounds weird… trust me. I’ll show you.
I guess I’ve been having a lot of moments this week where I just can’t handle how pretty this campus is. I think its because of spring. I love the transition into spring because its lighter out and everything smells good:) (And its track season.)
I’m just a happy camper right now. I’m a little bit stressed about Chinese because I have a midterm after break and I want to do well (of course). But I promised myself that over break I can study but I’m not allowed to stress. It just isn’t worth it:)
OH MY GOSH! I can’t believe I almost forgot to announce that I am going to be an RA next year! I AM SO EXCITED! I was offered an RA position in Beebe, which is conveniently located in the residential quad. It’s the closest dorm to the sports center! How wonderful is that?! I can’t wait for next year now:) I also have a few other friends who want to live in the quad. It will be so much fun! I can’t wait to blog all about it:)
In other (less exciting) news, my star quiz last Thursday was canceled because of the weather. We’re supposed to have it today but I don’t know if the weather is looking any better… I hope it’s clear tonight. I just want to get it over with! (I worry about tests too much.) But all my review sessions have made me much more familiar with the sky and the constellations which is pretty cool. I’m going to wow all my friends this summer with my star knowledge;)
Just two more classes and practices until spring break starts! Excitement! I still need to pack… oh well:) I hope all of you are excited about your spring breaks. Possibly some college road trips? Good luck!! 玩得高兴!(Have fun!)
