Greetings everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic holiday season and are enjoying your break.
Looking back on my last blog post, I can tell that I had a SERIOUS case of procrastination and it is a tad obvious that I was a little tired. At least I chose funny pictures in my sleepy stupor.
Anyway, since then I finished my paper, take home, and all of my finals. It's a great feeling to finally finish, and not because you're glad it's all over, but because you feel like your hard work really paid off. I finished everything on the 21st and was home on the 22nd. I thought I would have to wait longer because my flight was canceled at the last minute. But no worries – US Airways found me a flight one hour later that allowed me to catch the same connection flight in DC. Flying out of Ronald Reagan Airport was really cool because I could see the National Mall outside the windows and we flew over the Pentagon. I would say that's a pretty nice view! It's my first time being home since August! In a way, it felt like I was leaving my home instead of going to it. It was a beautiful day when I left. There was a nice layer of snow on the ground (but it wasn't good packing snow so oh well) and the sun was shining. A couple of friends and I shared a taxi to the airport. If you split the fare, it's cheap and a lot easier than hauling all of your luggage on the commuter rail or the T.
Well have a great New Years! See you in 2010!
While it was snowing!
