This past Saturday was a day filled with such sunshine and warmth! I visited my uncle at Discovery Bay in Brentwood, CA. He and my aunt have a great waterfront house and a boat! They also have three dogs and were dog-sitting two more dogs the day my friend Betty and I went haha. It was a party!
^Betty fell asleep on the boat! So I took a selfie. Also Betty’s real name is Angela haha, but she bakes like Betty Crocker! (;

My uncle’s super cool boat! 😀 There’s a whole inside on the bottom layer complete with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room!
^This was a hat my uncle bought one time he went golfing and forgot his hat! Lol. It’s meant for bald people so you look like you have hair. :O (I’m wearing it backwards but it’s visor-shaped.)

This was a great way to wrap up spring break. Family, friends, dogs, and delicious food. What more could a girl ask for? It’s been a great week of fun, sunshine, and blissful denial of all the work that awaits me when I fly back this week. But alas, I feel ready to jump right back into schoolwork! Funny how taking a week off gives you renewed energy to dive back in, huh?
