the weather has been pretty amazing these past week. i think i’ve spent more time outside in the past few days than i have the entire month of march. it was prospie weekend too so it was a great time for prospective students to see this campus – full of excitement and sun.
don’t let our bikinis and smiles fool you, it was below 20 degrees (celsius, of course) and pretty windy. the dead grass might’ve been a give away. this is proof that temperature perception is completely subjective and relative; below 20 in october wouldve had us in coats and scarves and here we are, tanning and frolicking in the cloud covered-sun.
it’s not always so sunny here at wellesley. it gets cold. really cold.
it’s not always full of excitement and positivity. it gets dull and mundane and even discouraging.
but it’s a place to grow and be challenged.
wellesley is where you form friendships with people that will get you through the dull and mundane, and encourage you when nothing/no one else will, and bask in the excitement and positivity when it comes.
this weirdo (kat) is the one that’s gotten me through the bad and is with me through the good.
this is my wellesley experience – the good, the bad, and the kat.
