Lake Walks in the Fall

Hey all!

It is so nice to be back in the swing of things. I have found that time away from the classroom and lacrosse field leaves me feeling refreshed but also a little discombobulated. Fall break was such a great time to relax and take a break from the busy everyday of being a college student but truthfully I missed it! Recently I have really been enjoying taking walks around campus and being able to see the scenery that campus has to offer. I am embarrassed to admit it, but I had never been on a true lake walk before! I made sure to do that over the long weekend and was very happy to have done so. Wellesley has such a beautiful campus that is home to so many interesting clubs, classes, activities and nature that is truly breathtaking.

I’ll make sure to include some photos from my walk. Lake Waban is a real gem of Wellesley and certainly is not hidden. The lake stretches from the East to West side of campus and makes for a great hike or stroll behind Tower Court. I continued my walk down towards the Butler Boathouse and then across the back half of our campus center; the Lulu Chow Wang building. I will definitely have to make sure to bring my parents along when they come to visit this upcoming weekend for Friends and Family Weekend. The lacrosse team is having an alumni game that will take place on Saturday morning and my family is making the trip up to see me. I am so excited to see them and get to show them the beautiful campus in this gorgeous autumn weather.

I’ll make sure to add those photos now 🙂

Don’t be a stranger,
