  1. Ice cream endowment. Like… you can get ice cream every day (!!!!!).
  2. We’re the only school in the US that has had only female presidents 😉
  3. +60% of faculty are WOMEN. WE LOVE TO SEE REPRESENTATION.
  4. Drag shows organized by students. Yes.
  5. FREE CONCERT on every LDOC (Last Day of Classes). We’ve had Muna, Charlie XCX, Dua Lipa, among others.
  6. Gets students’ names published on scientific papers (like what?????).
  7. Students can pursue research as early as their first year, without any prior experience (!!!).
  8. STUDENTS. Our campus is really diverse, so I love hearing my peers’ perspectives. It’s always so insightful to have a conversation with a Wellesley student.
  9. The emphasis on collaboration rather than competition. Example: the Science Center has been renovated and currently has more student-shared spaces.
  10. Readings can be mostly authors with marginalized identities (Latinx, immigrants, Native American, Indigenous women, etc), depending on the class.
