Hey all! It doesn’t feel like December out there at all. I can’t believe there’s no snow! For someone who doesn’t like the stuff I kind of miss it.
I just had my second to last Women’s and Gender studies class today. We watched a very moving poem recitation. Then we discussed what futures we envision for the world. It was interesting to hear other people’s thoughts about economics and equality. I recommend WGST 120 to everyone. Its not just learning about women. Its learning about how to look at the world from new perspectives.
In other news, tonight is Bingo night! I’m pumped. Heading to the Lulu is the perfect study break after a long afternoon. And there’s always the chance you might win an epic prize. (Who doesn’t likes prizes?) I’m going with a friend from the XC team and her roomate. They’re a match made in heaven. Snaps to Wellesley for that!
I know I’m going to miss it here but I also can’t wait to go home and relax for a while… maybe just a day. Then I have to implement an intense workout regime in order to prepare for the outdoor track season when I return. One of my coaches sent me Wellesley’s school records for both the hurdle events. Now I have a goal! I miss hurdling:)
