I returned to Wellesley this past Sunday (two weeks early for track). Its wonderful to back:) I’ve been so busy. Where to begin…
So I am temporarily living on East Campus in Bates in a spacious double with a teammate.
Since I’ve been back, we’ve had practice every morning and a team bonding activity almost every afternoon.
On Monday night the team went bowling.
I’m really bad at it;) Then we took a walk to J.P. Licks and visited an L.L. Bean store!
One night I headed into Boston to meet up with a friend from Tufts and his family. We went to a cute little Italian restaurant in the North End called Trattoria and then we stopped at Modern Pastry for dessert:)
On Wednesday I took a walk around campus after practice. It was a beautiful day:)
Then Wednesday night some of the team walked into the vil for frozen yogurt. Afterwards we went to a home basketball game. It was a super close game against Wheaton and Wellesley won! GO BLUE 🙂
On Thursday some of the team and I baked Blue Pride cookies! And then devoured them all;)
That evening we went skating in the Boston Commons! Turns out one of our teammates competed as a figure skater in high school. She showed us some awesome moves and we all had a great time trying to imitate her (and falling down a lot).
In my free time I’ve also been finishing up my study abroad application and some scholarship applications. It’s been fairly productive. I’ve also been watching Breaking Bad… Just finished Season 4!
All in all, its been a great first week back. College is tons of fun without classes;)
Nah, college is fun with classes too, I guess:)
I’ll be ready to get back to it in another week. But it is fun to just have practice and hang with the team all day:)
