This Marathon Monday weekend offered me a great opportunity to see a lot of old friends from home that I don’t normally see! On Friday afternoon, I met up with all my friends from home who go to school in the Boston area. We went to the MFA, then we went back to one friend’s dorm and just enjoyed a relaxing night with old friends, catching up on drama and what have you;)
Here we all are: so happy to be together:) I haven’t seen some of them in years! It’s so nice to know that they are nearby if ever I need them though. That’s what I love about being so close to the city.
My parents also came to see me on Saturday. We went to the Davis museum and saw the “Heech” exhibit. Lot’s of sculptures of the word “Heech,” which means “nothing” in Arabic, I believe.
Then my family and I went into Cambridge and watched a Harvard Yale baseball game with a friend:) And we ate dinner in a fun little cafe near Harvard Square. It was a fun weekend. And much needed, as I’ve been missing home lately (I haven’t been there in a while).
And, as always, what an awesome Marathon Monday!!! Life is good:):)
