I <3 homework?

Hello!

It seems like I haven’t written a post in a long time. This week has been weirdly long. Its midterm season again. Gotta get all those tests in before we head off to spring break, duh;)

Speaking of spring break, I AM SO EXCITED! I’m going to Charleston, South Carolina with four friends and we are going to have a blast! We’re staying at one friend’s home and we are planning lots of trips to the beach. I feel like its going to be the ultimate college experience: five friends, a beach, minimal homework;)

Backing up to my current situation: as I stated previously, its midterm season. I have a number of things to do in the upcoming weeks. I have three tests this weekend and one next Monday. I’m feeling very confident about it all though. My classes are so enjoyable that it really does’t seem like that much work. I was actually telling my friend the other day, “I have no time to do my homework! I just want to do my homework. It’s so much fun!” And they looked at me funny, but I meant what I said.

In Chinese class (Chin 202), we are doing a research paper as part of our final. I met with my professor last Friday and she told me she would get me in contact with some Chinese exchange students so that I could interview them… in Chinese! Exciting but also terrifying lol.

In general, life seems very manageable and also quite enjoyable. Track is going well. We had our last meet of the indoor season. Now a few “rest” weeks before outdoor begins. And by “rest” I mean we have practice but no meets. I’m going to be doing some beach workouts in Charleston. PUMPED!

Speaking of Track, a couple weekends ago I went to MIT with a few of the team because Kathleen has a friend who goes there. He invited us to a dance party. Here we are dressed up on Saturday night (after crushing our 4×4 PR)!

And last week at tea, one of the a RA’s in Beebe played her violin for us in an early celebration of St. Patty’s day. It was really cool to see her play. The music was beautiful and none of us had any idea she played an instrument previously. What a pleasant surprise!

So much has been going on but it is such a wonderful thing to constantly be doing something new. I think that’s on of the best things about college: you live with tons of people your own age. Some people are similar to you, some are very different. You grow and change together. There is always so much to do. College is a blast:) And I am so happy that Wellesley is the school I chose because I can’t imagine not knowing all the wonderful people in my life or having the amazing opportunities that Wellesley has given me. Come visit! 😉
