Hey all!
I hope you had a great weekend. I can’t believe its already Thursday. Time flies when you’re havin fun:) and doing a million things.
Last Saturday was our final home race of the season: The Wellesley Invitational. It was a lot of fun and we had so many fans out there cheering us on. Because it was senior recognition day, the father of one of my teammates made this wonderful video which I hope you will watch, enjoy, and like!

In other news, I mastered public transportation this weekend! I reeeeeally wanted to visit my best friend who is a freshman at Emerson college. So I hopped on the 3 0’clock Senate Bus to Riverside, after the race, then took the Green Line to Emerson! It was that easy (and I am terrible at getting places). So that was wonderful. Boston is incredible. I can see myself living there as an adult. Newbury Street if possible;)
On a more Wellesley Campus based topic: I love Women’s and Gender Studies. I recommend that everyone take Intro to Women’s and Gender Studies if you came to Wellesley. I mean come on, you can’t come to Wellesley and NOT study women just a little;) It’s incredibly interesting how so many ideas about women are presented to us through advertisements and other types of media. Women’s and Gender Studies is relevant to a lot of modern topics. We read interesting blogs and watch music videos. If you haven’t seen this yet, check it out:
Yes, we spent an entire class period discussing Beyonce. It was epic.
Speaking of classes, registration for Spring Semester classes is November 15th for first years and I am so overwhelmed! There are so many interesting classes! I have no idea how I am going to pick just four of them. Although I think I want to take Astronomy for my science credit. Doesn’t that sound awesome?! I know, I’m pumped;)
It’s almost FRIDAY! I’m gettin ready for a cozy weekend on campus. Toodles!
