Today, I am sad to say, is my last blog post of the semester. I have enjoyed blogging so much, I’m sad to see it end.
This whole year has been such a roller coaster! And although there were times when all I wanted to do was go home and sleep, I can honestly say that this was one of the greatest years of my life. I am so glad I have three more years to spend on Wellesley’s beautiful campus with my many new friends.
I feel like I have changed so much over the past two semesters that I don’t quite know how to put it into words. I feel much more independent. But also more confident, and mature in some ways. (Let’s be real though, I may have “grown” but I’ll never “grow-up.” 😉 )
This morning, as I was deciding how to write this final blog, I began flipping back through all the pictures I took on my cellphone throughout the year. I got a little emotional thinking about how great my year has been, overall. This is one of those time’s when words are kind of failing me, but maybe a few of my pictures will help confer just how much I’m going to miss Wellesley over the summer.

The first thing I did when I came to Wellesley in the fall was put up my Rosie the Riveter poster. It feels like that was yesterday but also a million years ago.

For Valentine’s Day, the library had “blind date” books. I wonder what this one could possibly have been;)

I’m going to miss weekend trips into Boston to visit my best friend at Emerson (and admire her tea drawer).

And I’ll never forget when I waited way too long to do my laundry…

And then for some reason wondered why it barely fit in the machine.

I’ll be sad to say goodbye to all my wonderful friends on the Track and Cross Country teams! Here I am with the track sprinters out to breakfast:)

Another highlight: the day I realized that I live in a place where people correct the grammar on signs lol:)
And just like my brain has come a long way (from all that learning), so have my muscles;) haha! Coach Meg’s strength training has really affected my hurdling in a major way. I owe all of my improvements to her. I can’t wait to get even faster and stronger next year!
As much as I’m going to miss school, my coaches and teammates, and my new friends, this is just the beginning. I have three more wonderful years of Wellesley ahead of me and I can’t wait:)
