Hello Hello!
This past weekend was phenomenal. A group of 6 other girls and I went to Flume Gorge, NH for an ice climbing trip with my professional ice climber friend Kevin Mahoney! He was a champ and provided all the rental gear for us AND served as our guide for the day, all for only $80 per person! Super duper good deal.
Also I went to an HMC (Harvard Mountaineering Club) event last Thursday and met some of their club officers and they were super impressed when they found out I was friends with Kevin Mahoney! First when they found out I was going on a trip being guided by him they were like, “Dude, how did you manage to get Kevin Mahoney??” and then when I said we were friends and he was doing it as a favor (which I feel he was, because $80 is SUPER cheap) they were like, “How did you meet him and become friends??” and were also like, “Omg $80??? Holy cow!” Hahaha. I felt very validated and affirmed by their respect and admiration haha.
