Boston – we meet again.
It’s also blizzarding outside so that’s fun. But I’m glad to be back. Despite how great of a break I had, I’m ready to return to my daily routine of classes, climbing, and tests. It’s a nice routine. I think I even miss dining hall food. What?
I’ve been on so many airplanes the past few days it’s unbelievable. So many forms of transportation. I took a boat from Tonsai to Ao Nang, a taxi to the Krabi airport, a plane to Bangkok, another plane to ShenZhen, stayed for two days, took a ferry to Hong Kong, took a plane to California, stayed for one day, and took a plane to Boston today. Holy goodness.
Also I’m currently waiting at the baggage claim wheel thing. I love that Logan has free wifi. Also, currently listening to Make It Bun Dem by Skrillex and Damian. I discovered (through my friend who loves dubstep) that this was one of the main songs the played at Chill Out Bar on Tonsai. It brings me right back. I love it. I feel like I’m back on the sand again, with the music in the background and my friends slacklining and the locals doing a fire show. (For explanations of those references check out my blog! freesolotraveler.blogspot.com)
Anyway, I’m excited to have tomorrow to settle back in and start classes on Monday. I’m actually excited for it, haha.
Also! I still have a single!! Well, a double that turned into a single. 🙂 My roommate and I had really different sleeping schedules last semester and she was resourceful enough to find someone else she could move in with. And I was told by the school that I might get assigned a new roommate this semester, but no email ever came! So I think I still have my single! Woohoo! Living the good life.
Okay now the baggage wheel has come to life. Talk later!
