A Weekend in Boston

One thing about me is that while I love exploring, I easily get caught up in work and don’t go into Boston as often as you might think. From time to time though, I am hit with the need to go out there and just walk around the city. That is exactly what I did this past weekend. Boston in…

From First-Year to Abroad

Hi all, Another week is in the books for this fall 2023 semester! I still cannot believe I am a junior this year. It feels like just yesterday my parents were moving me into campus in a post-COVID era. I am very happy that those who have moved in this year and in the years to come will get to…

My Favorite Wellesley Tradition

One of my favorite Wellesley traditions is…. Flower Sunday! If you don’t know, Flower Sunday is the oldest tradition here at Wellesley. Once a year on a Sunday in September, first-year students (littles) are paired with upperclassmen students (bigs); bigs give flower bouquets to littles, attend a multifaith ceremony at Houghton Chapel, and bond over brunch. Everyone dresses up nicely…

Time for a Reintroduction!

Hi! My name is Tenzin, a Wellesley College student, and I’ve been blogging here since the fall of my first year. But, I want to reintroduce myself to readers: I’m a sophomore from Illinois, and I’m going to major in economics and minor in statistics. Reintroductions!

Hello Blog! Welcome to my return to blogging! I assume most of you are new readers, so it seems only appropriate to reintroduce myself. My name is Jade, I’m a current junior at Wellesley (go green class!), and I’m originally from Massachusetts – only 30 minutes away from Wellesley. I’m a big fan of all the trees we have in…

I’m Back!

Hello everyone! My name is Vyara (she/her), and I’m once again one of your student bloggers! I’m an international student from Bulgaria, a current sophomore (it feels weird saying that instead of “I’m a freshman!”), and I’m a future physics major. My hobbies include reading, listening to music, and scrolling through Pinterest (yes, that does sound a bit boring on…

Last post before the summer break

Hey everybody! Can you believe that this will be my last blog post before the summer break? According to my Google Drive folder, this is my 26th post, and I still remember nervously writing the first one. The summer promises to be a busy, but also fun one. But first I have to survive the end of the semester.  Here…

End of Semester Sprint

Hello Blog! As the semester comes to an end, it seems like everything is happening in a blur. I’ll be honest, when the semester starts speeding up, I start to lose all perception of time. From courses steamrolling ahead to the end, ensembles preparing for final performances and exhibitions, and just the quantity of on-campus events to attend, it can…
