So I have to admit–last few days have been kind of tough, mostly because I’ve had a lot on my plate. I had so much Chinese homework to catch up on, wintersession planning, Oxford apps, and my history midterm essay.
I think it’s almost safe to say that my entire thanksgiving break consisted of food and essay writing. So rewinding back to Wednesday night, Chris took me out for my birthday at a place called North by Northeast which was a contemporary Chinese food restaurant. The place was sooo good! Then in Thanksgiving day, we had a turkey meal at Harvard and that night we went out to Allston for Korean food. Then on Saturday, I went out my friend Sunny back out to Allston again for Korean food–what can I say? I really like Korean food! Other than eating, I spent writing my history essay and hanging out with my brother and his roommates. Then I returned back to Wellesley Saturday night.
On Sunday, we celebrated Emily’s birthday with some pizza and fun times. Her birthday is actually the day after mine, yay for roomie dynamos! Then on Monday–my birthday!!! I’m finally 19. The whole day was so nice, lots of hugs and happy wishes and love and phone calls from my friends back home!! That night, Daniella and I went into the ville to get some cheese. Then later that night, we celebrated some more with some delicious petit munster, brie, and gouda!
Here’s a picture of us in the ZA house:
Here’s also the first picture I’ve taken with my new Instax camera!
Also highlights (or rather not): I GOT KILLED IN ASSASSIN!! UNBELIEVABLE. Leigh leaned in to give me a hug for my birthday, and then she killed me……so sad.
Hahah other than that, everything else has just been a little hectic. My CS partner and I are on an insane rush to finish our final project, which is due exactly a week from yesterday… Can’t believe next week is the last week of classes and it’s only really 3 days left…but until then, possibly going to a City and Colour concert on Friday, then the Tri-society winter formal on Saturday.
But also on my plate–begin reviewing all 10 lessons for my Chinese final, starting my my British history research final paper, essentially finishing our entire CS final project, and gearing up for my Russian history final paper. Wow.
But in about two weeks, I’m going home. Here I gogogogogogogogogo!
