Is today already my last day in LA? Seems it’s just been a blur of breakfasts of eggs benedict, stalking the JCrew sales, and walking my dog around Pasadena. Oh, and can’t forget those 3 weeks I spent in bed watching re-runs of Friends. Plus coding. Yay for all the:
if (helloworld===”Hello.”){
console.log(“Hi Christopher!”)
}
etc etc etc that I’ve written!
Also, as I last mentioned, I’ve mostly been working on constructing a website for the Wellesley Entrepreneurs alumnae group and refining my CS skills. Hopefully this will help as I tackle on my next programming class this semester…! I think I still have 45% more work still to go…but no worries, I shall prevail!
Also this week I’ve been gearing up for a very exciting time of the semester: TEA SEASON. So this spring, I am Merchandise Chair as well as co-Webmistress, so the lovely Britt Saunders and I have been working nonstop to create posters and spam as well as new ZA gear (I seriously have been eyeing navy thick knit vneck sweaters all semester….) The theme of our teas this semester is based on the book “On the Road” by Jack Kerouac, so we have 3 teas based on the book: Wild West Tea, Southern Hospitalitea, and Nor’easterners Tea. I still have halfway to go before I finish, so I really need to get going before tea season starts!
Anyway, here’s some of our work:
We’re also doing some personalized spam, and here’s mine!
Also highlight of the week– last minute home cooked meals made by my wonderful grandmother. Going to really be missing these when I get back to school! So tomorrow, heading back to Boston and am going to spend the weekend with Justin before returning to campus and see all my wonderful lovelies! Will keep you posted on my dilly dallies when I return to Wellesley and start tea season and classes. CS 111, here I come!
Lastly, here I am with my dog, Happy.
My friend who took this picture says that Happy deserves an A in good looks. I agree.
Boston, here I come!
