I am officially done with finals now!!!!!!!!!!!! Finished my last one on Tuesday, submitted my papers, and now currently sitting on a plane ready to fly home to LA! I’m so relieved to be done. This has been an amazing, quick, spectacular, demanding, and eye-opening semester. I think this semester has been the first semester for me where I’m really used to everything–my society, my work ethic, and needs and wants. I’m so happy to be done and to get a break. I’ve really been pushing myself this semester–just running and running, and now I get a breather.
This past week has just been a whirlwind–just writing my papers 24/7. We also did an end of the year semester photoshoot with most of the girls in the society. Take a look!!
I did get to see Justin one last time on Friday. We grabbed dinner at this delicious Chinese restaurant nearby his apartment. Good news is that he’s coming back the first weekend that I get back. Get back where? Cambridge!
So this winter break I’ll be taking a class at MIT, Israeli History, Culture, and Politics with Cassie. We’ll also be living at Wellesley together! I go back the second week of January, so I’ll have some lovely time at home first! And Justin will also be coming back to start school (his winter break is so much shorter than mine). I will also be making a website for the Wellesley Entrepreneurs Group. I will be pretty busy this break, but that’s alright–it will be a good balance for me.
I also plan on getting started on Chinese, take a look at some Java to prepare for my CS class, and working on some other projects.
Lastly, before I sign off, Lyn, my CS professor, wants my CS partner (both of them!) and a few other students in my CS class to present at the Ruhlman Conference, which is an annual conference that Wellesley puts on that exhibits students and their academic work. So right now, we’re applying to present, we’ll see how it goes!
But for now, I’m back home in LA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck to all of you making the final sprint to applying to colleges!
