Today’s post is only going to focus on my day today for a number reasons. First off, tonight has been simply lovely. I wrapped up my prep for my CS midterm tomorrow in the Science Center and walked outside to this:
I’ve almost forgotten how beautiful Wellesley is when covered in snow. I was just heading off to the ZA house at this time to meet up for a sisterhood dinner to welcome the new members, and I had just had to take a minute to breathe in everything around me.
ZA, the campus, the people—everything adds up to make my experience here absolutely wonderful, which brings me to my second reason about why today was wonderful.
Today was a day for re-inspiration. I went to the CS Open House today and met so many interesting people and learned about their incredible projects, passions, and ideas. I love that feeling you get when you learn something new, and excitement just engulfs you or just punches right in the stomach, but in a good way. It’s those times when you realize that have something ahead of you to work towards, learn from, and just…grow from. I get this kind of feeling a lot here. Everything I meet someone new, understand something I didn’t before, or recognize a concept or idea somewhere else, excitement jolts inside of me. And I love it.
So for the rest of the week, I’m going to run off of this excitement and use it to tackle this CS midterm tomorrow. Then, I’ll get a nice breather for a week. And then I’ll be off running again for my history essay and Chinese midterm. Meanwhile I’m going to leave you with this wonderful video from Hillary Clinton about why Wellesley being an all-women’s college is amazing.
Hillary just says it all:

And good night from all of us here at Wellesley!
