This past Monday, I caught up on some homework and then went out to Boston and saw Justin briefly. We made some rice krispies for me to bring to the ZA alumna game night! Afterward, I left to grab dinner with everyone at this wonderfully cute Italian restaurant called ZA. Here’s picture of us at dinner:
I also had my first midterm this week–an exam for Math 101z. I find it really lucky for myself that my midterms are all evenly spaced out. I seem to have only one a week for the next four weeks. I find that ever so slightly more comforting than having multiple ones in a week.
We also welcomed in a new class of members into ZA! I’m so excited for everyone especially welcoming Liz into my family! Every time we welcome more members into ZA, I am reminded of my own times when I first joined the ZA family. Gosh, I miss those times. But I realized how ZA and Wellesley have me grow so much!
This past weekend, I went to New York and visited some friends at Columbia. I made homemade chili at my friend’s apartment, got a tour of the New York Google office, and got a taste of New York in the rain. What I realized though was that I actually missed a lot of what Wellesley offered. At the same time, I had a great time in New York, even though the weather was a bit drab. Here’s a picture of the city on Friday afternoon from Morningside Park.
Next up on my plate is another midterm next week for CS, a quiz for Chinese, and preparing for my next short response essay for History. Talk to you all soon!
