Tomorrow is Wellesley’s last day of class and my semester is coming to a bittersweet end. I’ve been accepted into my wintersession program at Jacob’s University in Bremen and booked my flight. However, many of my closest friends will be staying in Europe for the whole semester. Luckily I’ll also have friends coming home from Africa, Ireland, Italy, China and other worldly adventures.
With the end of the semester also comes holiday parties, department parties, last practices and of course finals period. I have four papers and two exams to suffer through before my ride home. The winter finals period often reminds me of Harry Potter as the residence halls begin to empty.
With the exception of the wizard attire (which some Wellesley women definitely own), I really see very little difference. We even have our own platform 9 3/4. If you were disappointed when you turned 11 and didn’t get an owl, there’s always Wellesley.
