It is certainly looking like Spring at Swellesley. The new Spring ’12 class of TZE initiates are officially new members, the frisbee team had it’s first tournament and my beautiful saucy TZE sister Molly C. Gibian hosted a taste trippin’ birthday party in the enormous room she shares with our friend from Zeta Alpha Mary-Grace.
Molly’s birthday was on on April 1st (no foolz!), along with Fred and George Weasley and my frisbee captain, whom I fondly refer to as Bruce. We celebrated all of these birthdays this weekend in typical Wellesley fashion.
For Molly’s birthday, she bought miracle berry tablets, which increase the perceived sweetness in foods that ordinarily are tangy or sour. I was hesitant at first because I generally like foods the way they taste, but I can attest that no grapefruit has ever been more delicious than after tasting it with some miracle berry.
Molly was all about the sweets at her party. This creative cat works at Susu bakery in Wellesley and actually decorated her own birthday cake. Complete with lemon custard filling for the taste trip, Molly put a frosting garden on her cake.
