I can’t believe another week has gone by already! Where has all the time gone?? How is term almost over??
Yesterday (I should’ve written this yesterday (Wednesday) but am instead writing it on Thursday and then “publishing” it on Wednesday :P) I tried to have a movie date with my boyfriend over Skype, or rather, facebook chat. Our reasoning was that long distance relationships suck because it’s very difficult to have shared experiences and go on adventures together and bond over the formation of new memories…so we came up with the closest thing we could think of to a new, shared experience. 😛
Except we chose a boring movie. Hahaha. What a shame. Word of advice: don’t watch Cloud Atlas on a movie date whilst in separate continents from your significant other! You will be thoroughly confused (and bored) 2 hours into the 3-hour-long movie. Yup. 3 hours. Don’t know what we were thinking.
On a brighter note, yesterday evening I went to a formal dinner with climbing friends that completely made up for the movie fiasco! It was formal hall at my college, and my two friends were climbing friends I’d met through the OUMC. Here are some silly pictures from the evening!
