My absolute FAVORITE holiday is approaching!!! If you couldn't already tell by the title of this post, it's Halloween!!! This year I have had much less time to put serious thought into what I am going to be – which is disappointing for me since I live for Halloween. Last year I was Sarah Palin which I guess isn't all that inspired considering every brunette in the country was…but it was still fun. The year before that I was a hippie, which actually isn't all that inspired either. However, I looked pretty authentic because my mom uncovered some of her actual 60's garb. So this year I have been considering a number of things. Option #1 being swine flu. That costume would primarily consist of looking like a pig and then wearing one of those SARS masks…maybe carry around some tissues, writing symptoms on parts of my body…I don't know. The concept seems amusing. I also wanted to be Napoleon Bonaparte or George Washington at one point. I just think they have really cool uniforms. That proved to be MUCH too expensive though. I could also go as Cher like I did for our volleyball outing earlier in the year, but I am not fond of repetition of costumes. CONCLUSION: UNDECIDED. And I only have 2 days. Yikes.
Volleyball update: We lost to MIT! We were all really upset because a win would have meant hosting the NEWMAC (our conference) tournament. Now we don't host but in the end it really doesn't matter. We can still win the conference and get into the NCAA tournament. I really really really really want to win Regionals because if we do, it means we go to Cleveland to finish out the tournament. And as you may or may not know, I am from Ohio so that would be pretty cool. It can all still happen so I am pretty excited. We play Springfield (our other huge rivals) tonight. We have already beaten them but that doesn't mean we are approaching the game any differently. We still need to bring our A game.
Wish us luck and remember: comments are welcome and they also make you an amazing person in my eyes!!!!
