Marathon Monday was AMAZING!!!! I woke up that morning hearing screaming Wellesley girls from my dorm room and promptly joined in on the action. We all got as close to the fence as we could and just screamed as loud as we could for all the runners passing by. It's such a satisfying feeling because you can tell that the runners really appreciate it. They arrive in Wellesley around the halfway mark, so it must be nice to have a little encouragement before they finish. Some of the runners had really good senses of humor. One was dressed as Mario, another wore a beret and the French flag as a cape. Also (funny anecdote) I saw a teacher from my high school running! It was a nice little blast from the past. Overall opinion of Marathon Monday: THE BOMB.
