Happy New Year!

Hello everyone! Happy New Year's Eve!

The past week has been delightfully relaxing. I just got home yesterday from an overnight cabin trip in the mountains with about 24 of my favorite high school friends. We skiied all day and had a great time at night – there was soo much good food (and by good I mean bad for you…cookies, pizza, and chocolate galore) and the house was really cozy (it snowed the entire time I was there!). I left early though, because my grandparents are in town and we had tickets to see the Picasso exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum (the collection came from the Musée National Picasso in Paris). A lovely lunch at Wild Ginger made our afternoon complete.

I have been reading and sleeping and running and eating. After this weekend though, I will be starting work again at the Seattle Children's Research Institute with the Child Health, Behavior & Development team on an autism study. I worked with this fantastic group of people last summer, so I'm really excited to be working with them again. I have also been working on summer internship applications – I will write more about that when I know what I'm doing!

Have a fun and safe night tonight!
