So, how is the food?

Tons of people wonder, but very few ever ask: how is the food at Wellesley?

Between the 5 dining halls on campus, there is always something yummy to eat. Monday-Thursday, there is stir-fry, made on the spot, in Tower’s nut-free dining hall. There are always vegetarian and gluten-free options, in addition to an unending supply of ice cream (thanks to an alumnae endowment). They just opened up a Boloco (a yummy burrito place), down the street in the Ville. Right next store to Boloco is one of Wellesley’s best kept secrets: Alta Strada Market.

A couple friends grabbing sandwiches and sweets from the Market.

The ground level of Alta Strada is a really nice restaurant that gets packed on the weekends (it’s also a great off-campus job), but if you head down to the basement you can grab sandwiches with delicious fresh bread and so, so much flavor!

There’s also a J.P Licks and yogurt place in the Ville if you have a sweet tooth. Last weekend, I went with a couple of ZA girls to Ming Tsai’s restaurant, Blue Ginger. I swear, the butterfish just melts in your mouth. That was my 3rd time going there, and I’ve never been disappointed.

The Linden Store also have INCREDIBLE sandwiches. Their lunch line is 2 hours long on a regular basis, and peeps still keep coming back.

I promise I won’t go on about food in the next post. Wellesley Tanner Conference is coming up next Tuesday and this coming weekend is jam-packed with everything from social mixers to the Boston Book Festival. More to come!
