The interesting part about coming back home after Thanksgiving Holiday is realizing how little school we have left.
At the time of this post, it is December 6 and in a little less than 2 weeks, I will be back in my warm bed. The next 2 weeks are definitely “hustle” period. The time to, as every professor has told me so far, “finish strong”. I am a very reflective person and though I have 2 weeks left before I leave, I have begun to think back at the last 3 months. The ways I have grown or changed.
December 6 was also my birthday. I had a great day! I spent some time with my friends and received an edible arrangements bouquet from my mother. I am currently still in the process of eating all the fruit.
The combination of my birthday and the end of the semester allows me to sit and reflect on the last year and the last semester. I have learned a lot about myself and academically as well. One of the things that I have learned at Wellesley in the last year/semester is to cherish the people around you. At Wellesley, you will find many people who love and support you. It is important to maintain the bonds with those people.
See y’all next week!
