BirthWeek

There are a lot of weird things about me, but I think my love for birthdays (not just my own, just in general) exceeds that of most people’s love for any holiday.

My friends and family knew this, of course, and the celebration of my bday lasted for a week this year. and I loved every minute of it.

My brother got me a coffee maker because I’d complained about the sub-par coffee in the Wellesley dining halls (it’s pretty bad, fellow coffee-lovers. I suggest getting one of these if you’re Wells-bound!)

please excuse the strange child in the back

The view from my window was also so nice on Saturday. I couldn’t be bothered to get out of bed to take a photo so here is a terrible one from my bed.

My friends from back home and I went to a Japanese Izakaya in Allston. The restaurant was packed that night with Japanese people because the Boston Career Forum, an annual networking and recruiting event was happening this past weekend.

The food was amazing, the company even better, and I loved being able to spend time with my Tokyo friends and Boston/Wellesley friends.
