Delta V & Tea season

Hi!!! Woo hoo, It’s the weekend!! I left Miami today to go to New York City and stay with my sister for a few weeks. After spending the past six months in Miami, I definitely need a change of pace and scenery. I am excited to spend some time with my sister, and of course, safely explore the city!

Despite this week being pretty hectic with problem sets and courses, I was able to see two of my friends from Wellesley pitch their company at MIT Delta V, a summer entrepreneurship accelerator program that hosts MIT undergrads, graduates, and for the first time this year Wellesley students who would like to start their own company. I wasn’t too familiar with the program before the event, but it was so cool and inspiring to see all of the 15 different teams pitch their company! If you’re interested in entrepreneurship, you have to check out the Delta V accelerator. Also, I highly recommend checking out the courses at MIT. I cross-registered for an entrepreneurship course two semesters ago at MIT Sloan and it was such an amazing experience to learn more from the professors at the business school and also be able to go into Boston a few times a week!!

This past week has also been pretty busy with our tea (application) season for the Agora Society. We decided to still host a virtual tea season for this semester, and it’s been so nice being able to have large zoom calls with friends and meet new people from campus! Joining a society has been a huge part of my college experience. (One of these days I’ll do a post just on my experience in Agora!)

With Love,

Lynsey
