Finals are once again creeping up. I have a midterm this Tuesday so I spent most of this week studying, and meeting up with my group for some study sessions as well. It’s been a pretty stressful week since it’s the second to last week of the term and the last round of midterms and finals are looming around.
I am really looking forward to winter break, but at the same time, I am trying to add on some fun activities to my schedule so I am not too bored. Today, I applied for one of Wellesley’s Hive Wintersession Internships so fingers crossed! The Hive Internships allow students to apply to various internship opportunities in the college or with alumnae for the wintersession or summer. The internship I applied for would be with the College’s Investment Office, and I think it’d be such a great opportunity to learn more about the asset management industry and how the endowment is managed.
After studying a bunch this week for my midterm, I decided to take a bit of a break this weekend and went to my boyfriend’s house. We bought groceries, cooked dinner and gooey brownies together, and finished the night off by watching the movie “Elf.” Despite being in Miami, where the weather is warm and temperate year long, I’ve been trying to do all that I can to get into the holiday spirit. I’ve never been a huge fan of cold weather even while at Wellesley, but I really miss seeing all the snow around campus this time of year. It’s so beautiful during this time of year! Although I’m not on campus, I reminisce by looking through all the photos from the last two years on my camera roll. Here’s a picture from around this time last year:
Best,
