My Wellesley sisters for life

Hi all,

This weekend I officially became a member of Society Tau Zeta Epsilon, the arts and music society at Wellesley College. It was a beautiful evening and I am grateful to older members like Dani Toth who made it such an amazing experience. In TZE I have found something precious that I’ll cherish for the longest time: a group of people who will support, encourage and defend me for life.

I’ve always been surrounded by women and call most of my cousins and best friends sisters. On my mom’s side, I come from a family of strong-willed and accomplished women. The same can be said about the women on my dad’s side although there are predominantly men on his side. All of those women are role models and people that I look up to and aspire to become in the future. The ladies of Tau Zeta Epsilon are another kind of sisters that will surely help me become “a woman who will make a difference in the world.” Every moment that we will spend together will make me appreciate and love Wellesley even more. I absolutely LOVE my Iris Big Sister, Nour A., because she’s one of the prettiest, sweetest, kindest, smartest people I know! I can’t wait to get to hang out more with her and get to know her better because we discovered on Saturday that we have similar interests.

I’m so glad to be a member of TZE, already dread the moment when I’ll have to say goodbye to the senior members and can’t wait to see what the future holds for all of us!

Lori xx
