A Little Bit of Everything

Have any of you watched the new documentary, “Where to Invade Next,” by Michael Moore? I recommend it! I’ve been on a Michael Moore documentary binge these last few days, and I can hardly believe I had not watched any of his works. The documentary finds things that other countries (mostly European countries) do well, such as free education and prison systems, and suggests that the states adopt some of their ideas. I must watch it again, because my friends were talking over it most of the time, but even what I got to watch (and hear) was shocking. I’ve heard Fahrenheit 911 is also really good, but I have yet to watch it.

I started working on one of my final essays due in May, and I’m excited about the topic! I’m still doing research, but I should be able to start writing it soon. The hope is to finish it early so I can move on to my other essays… Let’s just say I have a lot to do before the end of the semester. I am also trying to figure out what topic I want to write about for my Ethics, Power, and International Politics module, but I am struggling! I have set a deadline for myself to decide, so I have to focus on it this week. Lastly, I am also currently working on a Law Firm Memo. I have never written a law firm memo before, so I am a little nervous (to say the least). I have done research on what they are supposed to look like, and I have asked a friend to take a look at my draft when I finish it. He’s studying law, so that should ensure I don’t turn in something too different from what the convener asked for. This week is pretty busy.

One of my close friends from last semester is coming to visit this Saturday! I am super excited, but I have a lot to do before she gets here! We will leave together next week, and I must prepare for my trip. Almost a whole month! That’s how long I will be away for. We have three weeks off for Easter Break, and I am taking full advantage of it. Before leaving, however, I must figure out how to pack a full month’s worth of clothes, electronics, medications, and such other. I am not looking forward to it…

Before ending this blog, I want to congratulate the new Class of 2021! Cannot wait to meet you all next year and hear about your amazing achievements! Until next time~
