Bits and Pieces

So, registration happened last Thursday… it did not go so well for me. I planned to take four full credit courses, one of them with a lab, and an extra half credit course. I even had backups. Still, I only got into one of them.

Now, I will let you know that this is probably the worst case scenario, so I wouldn’t let it affect your interest in Wellesley, but it is a pain to deal with. Honestly, I am not too worried about figuring it out before Spring Semester. There must be something I can do, I am just not so happy I have to deal with in the midst of insane amounts of schoolwork, work, and other such responsibilities.

I wis I could tell you I have been having insane amounts of fun, but that would be a lie. Whenever I am not doing homework, studying, or at work, I am much too tired to actually go out into the real world. I have watched a lot of Netflix. I started and finished the two seasons that are out for The 100. I usually practice Chinese characters while I watch TV, so I don’t really feel like I am wasting time, but two seasons was probably too much. Still, sometimes Netflix and chill (actual Netflix and Chill) is just what you need.

Although whatever still have a few more classes to go, I took my P.E. Final Test last Friday. I don’t remember if I told you already, but I am taking Strength Training this semester. You need at least two P.E. credits to graduate, and Strength Training will fulfill one of them. I am so amazed at my improvement, and I definitely will continue doing these exercises after the class ends. I am planning on taking another P.E. class next semester, but I am not sure which one just yet.

Finally, I don’t think I mentioned before today that I am doing research for one of the Newhouse Fellows now! She is an amazing law professor and Northeastern University and has had an incredible career so far. Doing research for her has been very educational so far, and I cannot wait to see what else I gain from working with her.

With any luck I will have my life a bit more put together by the next time I post.

Until then~
